The structure of the strategic plan grew from conversations with hundreds of voices. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners helped identify the priorities that matter most and the principles that will guide our actions. Together, these six elements form a shared framework for the university’s future.
The three priorities express Temple’s highest aspirations for the years ahead. They focus our efforts on empowering every learner, advancing research and creative activity with public benefit and strengthening our role as a partner in Philadelphia’s future. These priorities represent the areas of greatest importance for fulfilling our mission and elevating the university.
The foundational principles describe the values and practices that will support progress across all areas of the plan. They reinforce Temple’s commitment to fresh ideas, strong partnerships and effective stewardship of our resources.
